Ngā Haepapa Matua | Key Responsibilities (not limited too): As a PTF in TFC Maths, you’ll be at the heart of: Teaching foundation-level mathematics that prepares students for a wide range of undergraduate pathways Shaping course content and assessments Using innovative teaching approaches to enhance student learning Supporting students one-on-one, helping them build confidence and capability Contributing to a strong team culture, well-connected across the Department of Mathematics and the TFC programme Ideal start date January 2027 For more information on the role, please view the Position Description This is a full-time (40 hrs per week), permanent role The remuneration is $105,791 - $128,065 per annum, dependent on skills and experience He kōrero mōu | About you The ideal candidate holds an MSc or higher degree in a relevant discipline and possesses a recognised teaching qualification, with experience teaching mathematics in secondary settings. They are confident in coordinating courses and using learning management tools (e.g., Canvas), and they enjoy working with learners at varying levels and from diverse backgrounds. This person communicates clearly, collaborates effectively, and brings a positive, student-centred energy to their work. They are also keen to innovate, adapt, and embrace new technologies.
