Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin, invites applications for the Professor of German (1776). With this appointment, the University is reaffirming its commitment to the role of languages in the humanities and to the central role of the humanities in realizing the academic and societal goals of a 21st century university. Joint Chairs were first appointed in Modern Languages in 1776: German with French, and Italian with Spanish.
Post status: Permanent Contract
Salary: Appointment will be made on the 101B Professorial salary scale at a point in line with Government Pay Policy €140,067 to € €177,060 per annum.
