Our Health, Wellness and Sciences Portfolio offer a wide variety of health-related programs that prepares students to support the health and wellness of our communities. Students gain the requisite knowledge and skills through a combination of classroom, laboratory and experiential learning in a clinical setting. Our state-of-the-art simulation labs provide students with hands-on, practical training with equipment they use on the job and gain real-world experience and develop specialized skills in the Health and Wellness Clinics.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a full – time Professor to support the Georgian College School of Nursing, which includes Practical Nursing, Honours Bachelor of Science – Nursing degree and Honours Bachelor of Science – Nursing RPN to BScN Advanced Standing Pathway (Bridge) programs. As a faculty member with the School of Nursing, you will have the opportunity to apply your passion for the nursing profession, teaching our future nursing professionals, engaging in research and sharing your rich experience with students. By creating a supportive and effective learning environment, you will enable students to achieve their full academic potential as well as the College of Nurses of Ontario Entry to Practice Competencies for Registered Nurses.
This position will be assigned a Fall/Winter rotation but teaching assignments may be changed by the Dean/Associate Dean to occur in any of the three semesters.
