Department/ Unit: School of Accountancy Closing Date: Until the positions are filled Join Our Dynamic Faculty at the School of Accountancy The School of Accountancy at the CUHK Business School is now inviting applications for the positions of Professors / Associate Professors / Assistant Professors, commencing duty in July 2026. Applications from qualified scholars in all specialty areas of accounting (including financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, taxation, accounting information systems) or information technology related to business application will be considered. Applicants should have a doctoral degree (or one that is close to completion) in accounting, finance, or economics. The appointee will be required to teach postgraduate and undergraduate accounting or accounting program-related courses and will be expected to publish in top-tier accounting/finance journals. For assistant professor positions, appointments will initially be made on contract basis for up to three years, which subject to demonstration of the requisite level of performance and mutual agreement may lead to a longer-term appointment or substantiation (tenure) later. Salary, teaching load and faculty support are comparable to top US business schools and based on qualifications. A research start-up fund will be provided to support the appointees’ research general expenses and research support staff.
