Location: Adairsville, GA United States Job Description Operates an automated line to produce vertical profiles or components. Product Liability: Responsible for producing uprights according to design specifications. Tracks production orders in SAP. Ensures quality and quantities meet the production order requirements. Responsibility towards customers: For galvanized (Galva) parts, serves as the final operator to perform quality control before shipment to the customer. Doc. & instructions: The quality documents, production procedures, cleaning, and security are located on the SharePoint server Production orders are on ERP Quality and performance controls must be encoded in the appropriate software. Guidelines and procedure for 5S audits Equipment: Production: Roll forming line with unwinder, straightener, punching press, roll forming machine and cutting press. Transport table to sticks. Automatic magazine for putting the sticks in the perforations of the uprights Production tools: Waste trolleys, manual strapping machine, strapping unwinder, die stacker, Clark 5T Quality: caliper, ruler, keys, gauges, ... Security: Shoes, gloves, cap, glasses, earplugs IT: PC with ERP, operator input. Areas of knowledge / specialisations: Operation of automated production lines Setting up profiling equipment according to ERP-defined dimensions Basic computer skills Reading and interpreting profile maps Performing and recording quality control checks Implementing production adjustments as needed Working environment: Production workshop with noise, coil handling, load transport, and strapping activities Products: Aceteon 13AC, Deraclean D200 VLS Yellow, Thinner, 60, Gardabon A4952/1, MS 502, BTC-15, RALI Powder, Starcut M16 Work pace/size of the series: Max line speed 24m/min Coil change approximately every 45 min. Quality control: once per hour or every coil change or production change Changes of the profile type (perfo): once on average every 2 teams. Length changes: about 10 per shift on average Qualifications Monitors and operates automated machines These tasks include Respect safety Quality Control: Check compliance with the production order every coil change or once per hour: Length Thickness Width Height Hole diameter + hole and perforation positioning Puncture control Foot cut control Vriage + bulging. When the quality is not good, the operator must quarantine your production and notify your supervisor to find a solution to the problem and determine the purpose of the immobilized production. Change length + quantity Enter new length value on the profiling screen value Reset the counter and update it with the new ERP value Manually set the correct punch Perform quality check at startup Change of the coils: stand Load the coil onto the unwinder using controls on the operator panel Insert the coil into the straightener and press using manual controls Set to automatic unwinding. Feed the coil into the roll forming machine, then into the shear The line to automatic mode, verify profile dimensions, and make any necessary adjustments. Change type of profile: Coordinate coil type change with the overhead crane operator Replace punching die and shear Changing the trays In case of multiple perforations: test on template and check with the plan. Production start-up after approval by the quality department (or supervisor) Each team is assigned a specific area of the line to clean and maintain every two weeks. Organize work processes to minimize waste production.
