POSITION OVERVIEW

The Program Administrative Assistant provides essential support to SHARE’s program delivery team by managing data, communications, and administrative tasks. Serving as an organizational hub, this role helps ensure smooth program operations, accurate reporting, and a welcoming experience for participants, volunteers, and community members. This position reports directly to the Program Director.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Compassionate, respectful, and effective in a neuro-inclusive work environment
  • Comfortable working with youth and individuals with diverse abilities
  • Advanced computer skills, including demonstrated proficiency with:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Google Docs
  • Canva
  • Post secondary education in a relevant field
  • Previous administrative experience in a community, nonprofit, or program-focused environment is an asset

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

  • Experience working with Wix / Website design
  • Marketing experience; experience creating Facebook, Instagram posts
Responsibilities
  • Data entry and maintenance for multiple programs; generate accurate program statistics and reports as required
  • Track and manage program memberships
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and complete filing duties
  • Assist and support program delivery staff as needed
  • Serve as the main point of contact for volunteer sign-in and coordination
