What You’ll Do: Ohio Department of Public Safety – Ohio Narcotics Intelligence Agency Report In Location: 6000 Lombardo Center, Seven Hills, Ohio 44131 Work Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM Within assigned Ohio Narcotics Intelligence Center (ONIC) regional office, provide program direction & relieve superior of non-routine administrative duties pertaining to the ONIC Outreach & Collaboration program: Plan, develop & organize all major aspects, activities & initiatives of Outreach & Collaboration program; Plans, writes & implements program goals; Act for administrator by independently answering complex &/or confidential inquiries pertaining to the ONIC outreach & collaboration program; Prepare & issue correspondence regarding ONIC policies, regulations &/or programs; Coordinate, prepare & edit bulletins & briefings; Manage websites & social media accounts; Develop & maintain relationships; Facilitate tips to partner agencies; Formulate & implement program policy (e.g., criminal intelligence reporting & follow-up; research & reporting on trends & anomalies; etc.); Provide technical advice to aid administrator in decision-making regarding ONIC program policies, procedures, regulations &/or directives. Coordinate & attend outreach conferences & meetings with partners; Assume responsibility & authority in administrator's absence; Serve as liaison between administrator & public &/or private partners; Manage regional ONIC evidence database & audits; Schedule & coordinate in-coming &/or outgoing evidence; Oversee forensic intake from customers; Ensure proper evidence handling procedures are followed; Perform public relations duties; Represent ONIC & make presentations in meetings with public officials, private agencies &/or the general public; Provide technical assistance to ODPS personnel & other federal, state, or local government jurisdictions; Research information & prepare correspondence in response to inquiries & complaints; Utilize state owned vehicle to travel & perform work at other ONIC locations &/or to attend meetings, conferences, etc.; Perform other related duties as assigned. 36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in business administration, management science or public administration. If assigned to operate vehicles regulated by Section 4506.01 of Revised Code, applicants must also have valid commercial driver's license. -Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position which involved limited research & public contact. If assigned to operate vehicles regulated by Section 4506.01 of Revised Code, applicants must also have valid commercial driver's license. -Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in supervisory, administrative, managerial &/or staff position which involved limited research & public contact. If assigned to operate vehicles regulated by Section 4506.01 of Revised Code, applicants must also have valid commercial driver's license. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
