Description
Provides program direction on behalf of the Chief of Specialized Learning: · Manages and develops processes and procedures for the Ohio Administrative Code rule revisions in accordance with ORC, JCARR and LSC requirements: o Coordinates staff and provides project management; o Works with the Legal Office to ensure compliance; o Coordinates collection of public feedback on the rules; o Works with communications office to deliver timely information to stakeholders; · Coordinates communications: o Develops communications strategies in conjunction with the Office of Communications and Outreach; o Develops, coordinates and manages content and its distribution for the website, distribution lists and social media; o Coordinates with the Office of Communications and Outreach, program staff and office and center leadership. · Serves on various committees and internal workgroups as needed. Manages the business functions for the Chief of Specialized Learning · Maintains appointment schedules; · Schedules meetings and/or conferences, teleconferences, travel arrangements; · Takes minutes of meetings that may be confidential; · Answers and/or directs inquiries; · Handles and/or directs sensitive telephone calls to appropriate staff for response; · Manages and monitors the operational work flow of internal agency documents and timelines (e.g., HR, Fiscal); · Maintains accurate stakeholder contact information; · Creates and/or produces documents, reports, correspondence and/or letters; · Proofreads documents, revises, modifies and merges corrected information; · Maintains files for the Chief of Specialized Learning and associated offices. Performs other duties as assigned. 4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in business administration management science or public administration. -Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position. -Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development. -Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1, 63122. -Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above Job Skills: Program Management
