What you will do:

  • Support the planning, implementation, and support of maritime communication and networking solutions, ensuring alignment with operational and security objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison between government agencies, defense contractors, and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end logistics and scheduling for enterprise network and communications deployments, with a focus on maritime and defense-related environments.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for deployment timelines, resource planning, and shipping schedules to ensure on-time delivery of hardware and system integration materials.
  • Work closely with technical teams, subcontractors, and government stakeholders to align deployment schedules with project milestones and operational readiness timelines.
  • Develop and maintain deployment trackers, equipment inventories, and status reports to support field teams and program managers.
  • Ensure all logistical operations meet compliance requirements and adhere to DoD and maritime-specific standards.
  • Facilitate site readiness assessments by scheduling surveys, coordinating installation crews, and ensuring all prerequisite activities are completed in advance of deployments.
  • Track risk factors and scheduling impacts, proactively identifying solutions to avoid delays or disruptions to deployment plans.
  • Support shipping and transportation coordination for hardware deliveries to various CONUS and OCONUS locations, including staging and packaging for shipboard installation.
  • Collaborate with program management and engineering to manage configuration timelines, testing schedules, and system cutovers.
  • Continuously optimize logistical workflows and scheduling processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and meet evolving mission demands.
  • Work closely with network engineers, naval architects, and subject matter experts to ensure the integration of all systems, aligning with project specifications and operational requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for mission enhancements, cost reductions, and design improvements based on emerging technologies and operational feedback.

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics coordination, project scheduling, or technical program support—preferably within a defense, IT, or maritime setting.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex technical deployments across geographically distributed teams and environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with defense logistics operations, including shipping, asset tracking, and secure material handling.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineers, procurement, and operations, to ensure readiness of all deployment components.
  • Knowledge of communications systems (e.g., SATCOM, Wi-Fi, 5G) and how they are deployed in maritime, or DoD environments is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Project, and experience with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent scheduling software.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact effectively with internal teams, vendors, and government stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, including support for shipboard or remote site deployments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment to address technical challenges and ensure seamless network operations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments and respond to urgent technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; logistics, engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance.
  • US citizenship required.
