ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are working with a Public Sector client that has an immediate need for an experienced Program Administrator to provide support for joint readiness exercises within the National Capital Region. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional with strong administrative skills to contribute to a dynamic team supporting Canadian Armed Forces operations.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Familiarize with past exercise iterations to incorporate Lessons Learned, sustain and improve, into current planning
  • Assist with the drafting, review, and distribution of exercise documentation such as, but not limited to, briefing materials, presentations, EXIDs, EXSPECs, EXORDs, and PXRs
  • Prepare and coordinate updates for administration related to the exercise planning events and execution. This includes, but not limited to, VCRs, TDRs, CFTPOs, event registration, nominal roles, Joining Instructions, and Administrative Instructions
  • Process documents to include: staffing review in accordance with templates and military writing standards, RDIMS submission, and DDA processing
  • Assist with the development of financial forecasts, cost estimates, and budget documentation for planning events and execution
  • Track and assist with management of expenses for planning events and execution in accordance with the exercise budget
  • Assist with the coordination of deliverables and returns with Core Planning Team members, stakeholders, exercise participant leads, and host nation exercise planners
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and delivery of CAF exercise preparation events, working groups, and meetings. This includes, but not limited to, scheduling, communications, drafting briefing products, bookings, administration, and minute keeping
  • In the absence of the Exercise Planner Lead, act as central Point of Contact and independently continue assigned tasks, decision authority remains with the Exercise Planner Lead or Section Head
