EMERGENCY DISPATCH SERVICES (EDS) – PROGRAM ANALYST

  • Organization: Commander, Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM), G3 Operations Directorate
  • Location: Quantico, VA (Remote Hybrid Position)
  • Salary Range: $62,000 $72,800
  • Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The EDS Program Analyst provides Emergency Dispatch Service (EDS) and Law Enforcement (LE) related program and administrative support services to MCICOM G3 Operations Directorate Program Mangers. We are looking for an EDS / LE experienced, detailed-oriented, reliable applicant who can be counted upon to provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) directly associated to U.S. Marine Corps EDS programs. At a minimum, qualified applicants will be expected to perform the following tasks:

  • Provide administrative advisory and assistance analytical support services across the MCICOM G3 Operations Directorate enterprise.
  • Compile information, analyze findings, make interpretations, and write comprehensive reports based on EDS and LE data and trends.
  • Develop and conduct a regular and repeatable process that supports EDS workforce analysis to determine Marine Corps facility, structure, and manpower requirements.
  • Conduct technical analysis and periodic reviews of laws, regulations, policies, and industry standards relating to emergency management and public safety communications and information systems to propose updates to applicable orders, directives and policies governing the EDS program.
  • Develop processes, collect information, and conduct analysis of data pertaining to EDS personnel and function and the Consolidated Emergency Response System (CERS).
  • Perform statistical and analytical research involving the use of computer applications, random statistical samplings, correlation and regression analysis, and probability studies.
  • Support EDS and LE administration support services for current USMC Law Enforcement Information Systems.
  • Prepare briefs, papers, reports, charts, media products, and maintain the EDS SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and social media platforms with relevant public safety and emergency communications content.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR ELIGIBILITY:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the fields of Police Administration, Criminal Justice, or other directly related discipline of study.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Emergency Dispatch Service, Law Enforcement, Physical Security Access Control or operation security programs.
  • Certified as a Emergency Number Professional (ENP)
  • Ability to complete and maintain all required Government mandated training and vetting processes required for a Secret security clearance. Requirements for this will include, but not be limited to being a U.S. Citizen
  • Must possess excellent customer interface skills.
