Description:

Salary Range: $70,000 – 90,000
Location: Onsite - 1200 New Jersey Avenue SE Washington, D.C. 20590
Security Clearance:
Must be a US Citizen eligible for a DoD Secret Clearance.
Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense (DoD) active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.
Job Summary:
Provide project and program management expertise to government customers in support of maintaining and improving ongoing efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS or BA degree in a Business, Management, or relevant discipline from an accredited college/university (AS or AA degree from an accredited college and an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted)
  • 3 years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis.
  • Advanced technical knowledge with experience in an analytical and/or research and development organization a plus.
  • Basic PC skills are required with the ability to adjust to new technology as necessary.
  • Experience in data analysis desirable.
  • Must exhibit good verbal/written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and control of project with minimal guidance.
  • Must possess advanced technical and project management’s skills in the areas of trend and data analysis.
  • A high aptitude for analytical problem solving and the ability to work independently is desired.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in program / project status and schedule reporting and analysis
  • Excellent ability to communicate professionally verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a large and diverse team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and the location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required. Possible lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage team to deliver on time, high quality data to the client across multiple divisions while optimizing and standardizing processes for high-quality repeatable outcomes.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously; some of a high priority/high visibility nature will be required.
  • Provide support to the preparation and evaluation of technical documents, papers, studies, analysis, and briefings in support of acquisition of major automated information systems
  • Prepare and execute detailed analyses of project and program management activities
  • Support the development and tracking of cost schedule and performance of government projects and programs.
