The PA should have excellent organizational skills. Familiarity with knowledge management to create information sharing opportunities. In this role, the PA provides technical and operational coordination, training, and support to a military headquarters entity, assisting Joint Service as needed. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and preparing information briefs and point papers on policies, procedures, and operations, as well as reviewing military headquarters plans for compliance with DoD directives. The program plays an integral role in achieving mission assurance (MA) and complements other TRANSCOM programs concerning risk management. The PA Analyst is responsible for supporting TRANSCOM, with onsite and offsite support and may travel within the U. S. and overseas as necessary. The PA is responsible for supporting military and DOW civilian leaders in planning, organizing and coordinating MA program requirements. Essential Functions: Develop and manage knowledge manage platforms and solutions to facilitate information sharing Support military customer in the coordination, preparation, research and execution of assessments, events, activities to support Joint Staff, Navy, and Marine Corps Mission Assurance and its related programs and processes Assist with event planning, meetings, and conferences, including maintaining a master event calendar or spreadsheet, collecting RSVPs, and coordinating with external stakeholders Schedule meetings with military installations Support military customer in the preparation and review of graphical, oral, written reports, briefs, and products for multiple programs encompassed within the Mission Assurance umbrella Assist in the development and review of DoW reports and information papers, white papers, and position papers Assist in the coordination of staffing and research for DoW initiatives Draft briefs for internal and external use on various protection related topics Edit, proofread, and fact-check various documents and reports Participate in conferences, meetings, and other events, as needed Sit-in on working groups to develop program awareness and subject matter expertise Competencies: Exhibits strong organizational skills and attention to detail, effectively prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Develops clear and concise plans for completing projects and achieving objectives, utilizing superb research, analytical, writing, and editing skills Ability to draft and send professionally polished emails that convey key actions, needs, and recommendations Customer service-oriented and experienced in providing support to client personnel while working collaboratively and constructively with team members Able to identify issues for management, perform needs-gap analysis, collect data to support conclusions Strong work ethic and independence; effectively applies technical knowledge to solve problems Can identify, test, and utilize new tools to enhance organization, communication, and products Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc) Requirements Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor’s Degree Minimum 1 year of work experience to include work-study, internships, or a combination thereof Military service is a plus but not a requirement Other Requirements: Security Clearance: Obtaining a DoD TS-SCI Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for clearance level required for the job. Valid Passport: Possession of a current passport with a minimum of 8 months remaining until the expiration date.
