Modern Technology Solutions Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Program Analyst Sr. Principal with extensive experience in military and government business operations to act as the Commander’s Action Group (CAG) Chief supporting the United States Space Force (USSF) Mission Delta 2’s (MD2) 2d Sustainment Squadron (2STS). The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to identify challenges, develop effective solutions, and take the initiative to deliver results in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Strong communication skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this role. As a CAG Chief, responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to: Acting as the single point within the squadron to receive, coordinate, disseminate, track, and close all taskers coming to the workflow inbox. Skillfully evaluating each tasker, recommending negative responses when appropriate and/or working with the tasking organization to better focus vague tasks that have the potential to consume excessive amounts of squadron personnel time. Facilitating cross-Delta coordination and integration on tasker responses, Public Affairs actions, Program Increments, Industry Days, and Distinguished Visitor demonstrations and briefings as required. Maintaining a library of tasker responses, using information within it to build initial responses that squadron personnel can use as a starting point rather than beginning all new tasker responses from scratch. Reviewing work products for completeness, correctness, proper formatting, and consistent, professional appearance. Staffing work products through the squadron commander or delegates. Establishing and optimizing business lines within the squadron to maximize throughput and efficiency of the lean team Planning, coordinating, and managing strategic communications in alignment with the commander’s policies and guidance. Assisting with the writing of speeches, presentations, and other public-facing material. Developing, planning, coordinating, and assisting the commander and other senior leadership to execute various scheduled events such as commander’s calls, all-hands, and military ceremonies (promotions, retirements, etc.). Required Qualifications: 15+ years of relevant work experience supporting Senior Executives, Squadron Commanders, or equivalent. Extensive experience working with DoD or IC tasking systems, such as TMT and MS365 Office Suite. Strong understanding of Defense Department and/or Space Force organizational structure, policies, and culture. Proven ability to manage high-level taskers and utilize reporting systems effectively. Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. Robust communication and interpersonal skills to respectfully drive customer engagement on task actions/responses. A self-starter able to take initiative and accomplish work independently with minimal guidance. Desired Qualifications: Candidates with the following qualifications will stand out: Relevant experience in Space Force Combat Forces Command (CFC) or Space Systems Command (SSC). Familiarity with systems such as Teams, SharePoint, PROPS, and Task Management Tool (TMT). Project management experience, including prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing competing priorities. Knowledge of space operations, aerospace systems, or related industries. Familiarity with Agile or Lean methodologies to enhance team collaboration and operational efficiency. Education /Certification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (required). Masters degree (desired). PMP or APDP PM certification (desired). 10+ years of related professional experience is accepted in lieu of a degree. Security Clearance Level Required: Active Secret security clearance. TS clearance with SCI eligibility. U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. Location/Travel Requirements: Primary work location : Colorado Springs, CO. Remote work opportunity : Limited, with occasional flexibility. Travel requirements : Up to 10% within the continental United States. The pay range for this position in Colorado is $145,000/year to $175,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
