Responsibilities

North Richmond Community Health (NRCH) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program and Practice Manager – Medical Services to lead our multidisciplinary medical team. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and sustainable primary care services that meet the varied needs of our diverse community. You will play a key role in service planning, workforce leadership, financial sustainability, quality improvement and compliance with accreditation standards.

Working closely with GPs, Nurses, Specialists and the administration team, you will ensure seamless integration of services and foster a positive, improvement-focused culture. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to NRCH’s mission of delivering innovative, client-centred, and culturally safe healthcare.

  • Lead the Medical Services Program, ensuring high-quality, efficient and sustainable primary care services.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to GPs, Nurses and Specialists
  • Manage program budgets, MBS billing processes, and financial sustainability.
  • Oversee compliance with accreditation standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Drive workforce development, including recruitment, supervision, and performance management.
  • Build a positive and continuous-improvement-focused culture within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Foster integration across NRCH programs, ensuring client-centred and culturally safe care.
  • Monitor service performance against KPIs, identify risks, and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Strengthen stakeholder relationships with internal teams, external partners, and the wider community.
