Creative Tuition is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to help support our work experience week in collaboration with GKN Aerospace. This role offers a valuable opportunity to assist with the planning, organisation, and delivery of a week-long STEM program. You will work closely with the STEM Program Manager to ensure the smooth running of the program and help deliver a high-quality experience for students. This role includes progression potential, with the opportunity to transition into the role of STEM Programs Manager.
Role Title: Assistant STEM Program Manager
Duration: 3rd February to 17th April 2025
Pay: £12.50 ph
Hours: 10th February to 11th April - 2.5 hrs per week | 11th-17th April 2025 - 6hrs per day
Contract type: Self-employed, contractor
Training provided: Safeguarding training

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Interest in or experience with STEM outreach activities.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in presentation design and digital media tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in event coordination or education is an advantage, but not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Support the organisation of activities, materials, and guest speakers.
  • Design and create presentations for use during the program.
  • Help lead and manage five days of in-person activities.
  • Assist in finding engineers to run post-program mentoring sessions for students.
