Summary/Objective: The Program Assistant is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the front office. This position assists in a number of areas to help the overall mission and vision of Inspire to Rise. From intake and insurance authorization, Medicaid billing and front office oversight. This position is the main support to the office and Leadership staff.

  • Front office experience
  • Insurance/ Billing experience

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of the office while maintaining a professional workplace
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments to optimize client satisfaction and facility efficiency
  • Create and update patients’ records
  • Verify patient insurance
  • Maintain total confidentiality of personal and financial data
  • Answer phones and direct participants to services
  • Handle new participant orientation and intake process.
  • Perform data entry and processing.
  • Provide educational material for patients.
  • Organizing and attending meetings.
  • Preparing letters, presentations and reports.
  • Ensuring the office environment and procedures meet health and safety regulation standards.

    Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. The position also requires the ability to drive a motor vehicle.
