Position Summary The primary purpose of this position is to assist the workforce administrator and workforce team with implementing processes, gathering and monitoring program metrics analyzing data and submitting reports under the direct supervision of the Workforce Administrator - Office of Resident Services. Performance of the duties requires the ability to understand, act on, and interpret policies, regulations, and procedures as set forth by the Housing Authority of Baltimore City. All activities must support the Housing Authority of Baltimore City (“HABC” or “Authority”) mission, strategic goals, and objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities  The position duties and responsibilities listed below describe the general nature and scope of work. Other responsibilities, duties and skills may be required and assigned, as needed. * Assists the Workforce Administrator with coordinating, implementing, and managing administrative tasks associated with the workforce program for the Office of Resident Services. * Tracks referrals, attendance, and compliance metrics, and report metrics monthly for the entire workforce unit. * Prepares and presents monthly GROW (Getting Ready for Opportunities to Work) orientation sessions with eligible public housing residents. * Assists the Workforce Administrator, residents and resident groups in identifying resources for implementation of programs that promote self-sufficiency and economic mobility. * Assists with the implementation of ancillary workforce initiatives that workforce skills within the resident population. * Assists in surveying, educating and encouraging public housing residents to participate in community and partnership programs that will enhance the quality of their lives. * Serves as the liaison between the workforce program participants and the Workforce Administrator to provide feedback or concerns and needs for program development. * Establishes and maintains contact with residents, resident groups and public and private agencies regarding resources for the implementation of programs. * Schedules and conducts group meetings with residents to explain program policies, procedures and changes related to workforce initiatives. * Responsible for maintaining a database of all partners and community programs. * Assists with maintenance of the Section 3 registry and verification documents. * Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education, Training and/or Experience High School Diploma or some college and a minimum 3 years of program coordination support and direct services. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered. Other Requirements: * Availability to work some evenings and weekends as needed. * Successful completion of a prescreening investigation, including verification of employment history and education credentials. * A 6-month probationary period applies to this full-time permanent position.
