Internship Opportunity with the McGill Office of Sustainability

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be a current McGill student (students from all faculties are invited to apply)
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel
  • Detail-oriented when entering and organizing data
  • Eager to learn about and advocate for sustainability and waste reduction; creative and enthusiastic
  • Interest in sustainability on campus
Responsibilities
  • Consolidate, analyze, and visualize waste-related data
  • Research best practices into innovative data collection and visualization methods
  • Assist the Zero-Waste Engagement Intern in organizing and leading waste audits on campus
  • Participate in the Zero-Waste Task Force (provide updates on data trends and student perspectives to this cross-campus group of stakeholders)
  • Assist in zero-waste signage projects
  • Identify key locations for waste education interventions on McGill’s campuses
  • Others, as they may arise
