OVERVIEW:

Casa Loma College seeks a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Chair of the Business Program. This role offers the opportunity to oversee the Bachelor of HealthCare Management (HCA), Business Administration (BBA) and Public Administration (BSPA) program while spearheading the development and launch Master of HealthCare Management (HCM), Business Administration (MBA) and Public Administration (MPA) program. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of academic leadership, curriculum development expertise, and a commitment to student success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ph.D. in Business or a closely related field required.
  • Proven experience in program development and academic leadership.
  • Strong record of teaching, research, and administrative excellence.
  • Ability to engage with external stakeholders, including business leaders and accreditation agencies.
  • Visionary mindset for growing and evolving business education.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience launching or leading a graduate-level business program.
  • Expertise in securing funding, grants, or partnerships for academic initiatives.
  • Familiarity with accreditation processes and curriculum assessment.

  • Program Leadership & Administration
  • Oversee and enhance the existing undergraduate business and public administration program.
  • Lead the development, accreditation, and launch of a new master’s program.
  • Establish and maintain industry partnerships to support student internships, research, and career development.
  • Collaborate with faculty and administration to align programs with institutional goals.
  • Curriculum Development & Faculty Support
  • Ensure curriculum remains innovative and responsive to business trends.
  • Recruit, mentor, and support faculty members in teaching and research initiatives.
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and experiential learning opportunities.
  • Student Engagement & Academic Excellence
  • Champion student success through mentorship, advising, and career readiness initiatives.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the program.
  • Develop professional networking opportunities for students and alumni.
  • Two Days per week may be worked remotely
