POSITION OVERVIEW Position: Program Control Analyst Job Type: Full Time Location: Hybrid (Sterling, VA or DMV area preferred) Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance Travel: None ABOUT THE TEAM As a Program Control Analyst, you’ll join a tight-knit, collaborative team that connects the dots between program execution and financial performance. In this role, you’ll handle the day-to-day financial tracking and reporting that keeps projects running smoothly and in compliance. You’ll prepare the data and analysis that help leaders make smart decisions, while building hands-on experience across multiple contracts, funding requirements, and proposals. It’s a great opportunity to learn government contracting from the ground up and grow toward senior finance or operations roles. WHAT YOU'LL DO You’ll handle the day-to-day financial and operational tracking that helps our leadership make informed decisions. This includes: Building and updating program budgets, forecasts, and Estimates at Completion (EACs) Maintaining accurate data in ERP systems (Unanet/Deltek), budgets, actuals, charge codes, and more Generating monthly financial reports (CFSRs, MSRs, etc.) for program and leadership reviews Reconciling subcontractor invoices, timesheets, and funding levels Supporting proposal pricing efforts by developing draft cost models and estimates Analyzing program variances and helping prepare monthly review presentations Assisting with compliance deliverables such as indirect rate reporting, incurred cost submissions, and audit prep You’ll get to work closely with Program Managers, Contracts, and FP&A, learning firsthand how all the pieces of program finance fit together. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 3–5 years of experience in government contracting, program control, FP&A, or financial analysis Familiarity with CPFF, FFP, T&M, and IDIQ contract types Strong Excel and financial modeling skills Experience using Unanet, Deltek, or similar ERP tools Proven to be detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative, the kind of person who keeps data clean, processes organized, and projects moving forward. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. The final salary offer will be determined after a thorough review of the candidate's background and alignment with the role.
