Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual for the position as Contracts Administrator. Job Description: Program Control/Contracts Administrator, the ideal profile is someone who operates similarly to a contracts manager with strong integration across contracts, finance, and program execution, regularly interfacing with Contracting Officers (KOs) and internal stakeholders. Experience with the Department of Defense environment is important, along with a solid working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). A legal background, including candidates with law coursework, can be valuable, especially for navigating contractual risk and compliance. The role requires someone analytical and detail-oriented who understands contract profitability, backlog funding, burn rates, and overall financial health of programs. They should be comfortable managing contract funding, tracking obligated funds, and ensuring alignment between financials and contract requirements. The strongest candidates combine financial discipline, contractual knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with both government and internal teams. The position is based in the DMV area with a hybrid work structure, so proximity and flexibility are important considerations. Description/Responsibilities: * Responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts, subcontracts, contract modifications, and non-disclosures Ensures compliance with Government procurement regulations and corporate policies and procedures. * Serves as official company contracts representative with subs, commercial and Government customers. * Develops solutions to a variety of complex contract and business problems. * Provides program managers with advice on government regulations. * Inputs and updates contractual data in company accounting system. * Assists higher-level employees with contract termination procedures. * Performs basic analyses for firm fixed-price, cost plus, T+M and similar contracts. * Participates as a team member on an Acquisition Management Review Team or an equivalent assignment. * Conducts basic procurement procedures and techniques. * Develop competitive pricing for proposals. * Performs commonly used contracting methods and contract types related to pre-award, post-award and/or price/cost analysis functions to perform well defined and precedent contract actions. * Analyzes business practices and market conditions to evaluate bid responsiveness, contractor responsibility and contractor performance. * Presents factual information, composes memoranda, minutes and reports, and drafts contract provisions and supporting documents. * Well established organization, planning, and time management skills. * Ability to work independently and coordinate work of others. * Other duties as assigned. Security Requirements:  Security clearance is peferred. Requirements/Skills: * All candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Gov’t Contracting field. * Experience with the Department of Defense environment is important, along with a solid working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Education/Training: * Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or related field is preferred Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.  Communication: Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.
