Description

ABOUT 4-H

For more than 100 years, 4-H Alberta has been shaping the lives of youth through hands-on learning, leadership development, and community engagement. As the province’s largest youth-serving organization, we empower and guide young Albertans to develop confidence, resilience, and real-world skills that prepare them to thrive and become leaders and volunteers in their clubs, communities, countries, and the world. Our programs support thousands of youth across Alberta each year and we’re just getting started.
With a renewed vision and a commitment to excellence, 4-H Alberta continues to grow our impact with the support of generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and passionate staff.
In this full-time role, you’ll be an essential part of the 4-H Alberta Provincial Programs Team, taking the lead on some youth programs while supporting others. You’ll help organize exciting opportunities like the Ambassador Program, senior symposiums, member trips, summer camps, and provincial advisory committees, while also developing and updating program resources. From coordinating travel and events to collaborating on sponsorship programs and supporting families and volunteers, you’ll play a key role in bringing meaningful experiences to 4-H youth across Alberta.
Please note that this position works remotely, but will also be required to be at designated locations around the province for programming about once a month depending on the time of year. Due to the nature of the position, evening and weekend work is required; and occasional travel throughout the region(s) and the province. Overtime is accumulated on a straight time basis.
