Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Program Coordinator for the Creative Arts Collective will provide support to the Associate Director of Programming and Sr. Fellow for CAC by coordinating a portfolio of ongoing convenings, the Artist Co-Lab programming, and assisting with campus integration through faculty, staff, and student engagement. This position will play a crucial role in carrying out the CAC’s key strategy of convening reporting directly to the Associate Director.
The Creative Arts Collective for Christian Life and Faith is a hub for Christian arts based at Belmont University with a primary aim to inspire people from diverse contexts to discover and live the beauty and wisdom of the Christian story and encounter God through the arts. The three objectives of the Creative Arts Collective are creating and curating new art, educating and nurturing Christian imagination, and cultivating and sustaining a thriving network in Christianity and the arts. Key strategies for advancing the aim and objectives are Grant-Making, Convenings and Storytelling. All activities in the Creative Arts Collective are funded by a major grant from the Lilly Endowment, Inc.

Primary position responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics on a portfolio of convenings supporting the CAC nationwide network working closely with CAC leaders, external vendors, and CAC partners.
  • Facilitate on-campus events related to the Faculty Fellows program and campus-wide engagement while also collaborating with the Events & Special Projects Coordinator on large events.
  • Oversee logistics and activities for the Internal Advisory Board, Faculty Fellows, and other internal programs including coordinating meetings, agendas, materials, calendars, etc.
  • Coordinate an annual Artist Co-Lab immersion retreat including travel logistics, venue and catering arrangements, marketing materials, and partner communication.
  • Maintain programming and budget documentation for grant reporting.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
