OVERVIEW The Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Indy Summer Learning Labs (ISLL) site, ensuring high-quality program implementation, compliance with ISLL requirements, and a safe, engaging environment for all students.     This role serves as the operational lead for the site, managing logistics, supporting staff, maintaining enrollment and attendance targets, and ensuring all reporting, budget, and program expectations are met.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Program Operations & Implementation  1. Oversee all day-to-day operations of the ISLL site  2. Ensure consistent execution of program schedule (ELA/Math, enrichment, meals, transitions)  3. Maintain a structured, safe, and positive environment  4. Troubleshoot operational issues quickly  5. Plan, coordinate, and oversee all field trips, including logistics, transportation, supervision, permissions, and safety planning     Staff Coordination & Support  6. Supervise and support site staff  7. Ensure appropriate staffing coverage and scheduling  8. Provide coaching, direction, and performance support Enrollment, Attendance & Family Engagement  9. Lead program rollout communication to parents/legal guardians  10. Serve as primary contact for families  11. Provide weekly communication updates to families  12. Monitor attendance and implement engagement strategies  13. Maintain accurate enrollment and attendance tracking Compliance, Reporting & Data Management  14. Ensure all ISLL reporting is completed accurately and on time  15. Track attendance, enrollment, and assessment data  16. Maintain organized and compliant documentation  Budget & Resource Oversight  17. Support the implementation of the approved budget  18. Track expenses and assist with reporting  19. Ensure proper management of supplies, meals, and materials  Partnership & Communication  20. Serve as primary contact for partners, families, and vendors  21. Coordinate with transportation, meal, and enrichment providers  22. Maintain clear and timely communication with all stakeholders  Program Quality & Outcomes  23. Monitor performance metrics, including attendance and participation  24. Implement improvements to maintain program quality  25. Ensure positive student experience  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education * Bachelor’s degree preferred (education, social services, or related field)  * Experience managing youth programs or similar settings  Experience * Experience working with youth who have experienced trauma  * Strong organizational and leadership skills  * Ability to manage multiple priorities  * Experience with data tracking or compliance preferred * Basic Computer Skills including use of Microsoft programs Skills and Competencies * Strong leadership abilities * Excellent attention to detail * Skilled at communication and relationship building * Ability to solve problems under pressure * Accountable to self and others  * Demonstrates initiative Additional Requirements * Must be at least 21 years of age  * Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required  * Ability to pass background checks and all DCS-required clearances  * CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)  * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings  GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: 1. Must have ability to attend every day of camp during the 5 weeks of programming  2. Must provide own transportation, have valid driver’s license and driving record must meet insurability requirements.  3. Must maintain and provide documentation of auto insurance.  4. Must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.  5. Must have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend frequently.  6. Must maintain CPR and First Aid certification and must stay current on all other training as defined by Indiana state guidelines, industry accreditation standards, and company guidelines.  7. Must successfully complete background check at the time of hire (prior to delivery of services to youth) and annually thereafter.
