Student Health Services is seeking a Program Coordinator for CCRP (Cove Collegiate Recovery Program) to oversee the daily operations of our substance-free and harm-reduction recovery services for students. This position will oversee a team of student staff and volunteers to offer peer coaching and student-driven activities to foster substance-free community and connection. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with collegiate recovery work and experience working in higher education. The Program Coordinator will play a critical role in promoting student health, resilience, and academic success.
The Program Coordinator for CCRP is a partial year career position with a 4-week unpaid summer furlough. Positions with summer
work breaks contain regularly scheduled non-work periods during which the Program Coordinator remains an employee,
retains health benefits, but is not at work.

JOB SUMMARY
Cove Collegiate Recovery Program (CCRP) provides support and a safe environment for students to receive harm-reduction and recovery services. Reporting to the Director of Prevention, Education, and Intervention Services, the Recovery Program Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of CCRP.
The Program Coordinator oversees the daily operations of our substance-free and harm-reduction recovery services for students. As a seasoned health education professional, they support students on their recovery journeys through both individual and group engagement. Their role emphasizes coaching, programming, outreach, and administration to promote student health, resilience, and academic success.
This Recovery Program Coordinator leads a team of student staff and volunteers responsible for developing and implementing student-driven activities and events throughout the academic year, fostering community and connection. The incumbent collaborates closely with campus offices and departments to reduce stigma surrounding substance use and strives to cultivate a campus-wide community dedicated to enhancing student access to services.
This position collaborates closely with Student Health Outreach and Promotions (SHOP) and the Center of Advocacy, Resources & Empowerment (CARE) to support and offer evidence-based prevention practices related to health outreach, promotion, and education services specifically related to substance use-related health issues and concerns.
