POSITION SUMMARY/ DEPARTMENT SUMMARY:

In the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine, our health care team provides medical, gynecological, nutritional, and psychological care and counseling. Our team is made up of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, dietitians, mental health providers, and care coordinators — all of whom specialize in the care of teenagers and young adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities and daily operations of the program, including problem-solving, providing technical advice, and answering queries related to program goals.
  • May prepare, or assist in the preparation of CVs and faculty promotion, ensuring effective communication with management.
  • Assist in and the development of promotional literature and monthly newsletters, fostering engagement and interest in the program.
  • Plan and coordinate workshops, meetings, or conferences, such as fellow graduation or promotion celebrations, managing logistics, scheduling, and participant communications.
  • Maintain interactions and liaison with staff, faculty, and outside/community agencies to facilitate the achievement of program objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience:

  • 1 year of related work experience
  • The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
  • The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
