CRF – CELEBRATING 45 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE IN BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY!

Hours: 40 hours per week. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm or 9:00 am to 5:30 pm; Wednesday, 10:30 am to 7:00 pm.
Pay Rate: $39.97 to $42.07 per hour
Duration: 3 to 6 months, depending on program needs
Education: Master’s degree in a mental health-related field such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required
Licensure: Licensed-eligible or registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or Waivered Psychologist required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 2+ years of direct work experience in behavioral health or community-based social services programs
  • Demonstrated ability to make assessments, design treatment plans, and document accordingly
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple concurrent assignments
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
  • A valid California driver’s license in good standing, personal vehicle, proof of insurance and eligibility to be an approved CRF driver is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position.
  • Ability to pass criminal/background clearance

Responsibilities
  • Provide outreach activities, monitor program data, provide reports to Program Director, assist in training of newly hired Case Management staff, and handle other administrative duties as requested.
  • Provide direct services to include screenings, initial and on-going assessments, crisis prevention and intervention, support with medication monitoring, and individual/group counseling.
  • Assist clients in accessing and using medical care, community resources (e.g. vocational and educational), family and other support systems to achieve an optimal level of health and functioning in the community.
  • Helps support with oversight of Strengths Based Case Management housing company
