This is not a supervisory role. The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Program Director. Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care. Assist clients with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating. Prepare meals and snacks. May include grocery shopping. Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties. Assist with transportation needs for community outings, appointments, and errands Implement behavior supports and de-escalation during challenging behaviors Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices. Administrative duties such as assisting with schedules, one-on-one training of staff, documentation and follow-up of individual and program related issues, and ensuring compliance with policies and Oregon Administrative Rules. Gain health care experience to further your career Qualifications What Makes You A Great Fit: 2+ years of caregiver experience required (experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred) Valid driver's license required NAR Preferred Must be at least 21 years old HS Diploma or GED required Have a passion to help others through person-centered care People-oriented and have a team approach Dependable, adaptable, and flexible Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
