OPPORTUNITY

MacEwan University is seeking a Program Coordinator for 2 full-time continuing opportunities with the Faculty of Nursing.
The Program Coordinator supports various aspects of degree and certificate program implementation in the Faculty of Nursing and engages in formative evaluation to enhance excellent learning experiences. You will plan, organize, and assist in implementing program specific activities, as well as compile, analyze and communicate program data to various stakeholders including administration, students, faculty, other staff, and external partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring faculty and students have appropriate materials and processes to facilitate program implementation;
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders internal and external to the university to gather and share information specific to program related activities;
  • Supporting specialized scheduling of learning resources;
  • Monitoring admissions and emerging program trends;
  • Facilitating formative program evaluation by creating surveys, implementing data collection and summarizing results for administration; and
  • Compiling pertinent program information for external credential verification requests.

  • Proficient office and technological skills required to navigate and produce various documents and spreadsheets.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education, Health or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing programs or complex projects, writing reports and completing time sensitive work.
  • Experience in a post-secondary work setting is considered an asset.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
