Overview Department Overview: The Office of Network Development and Telehealth (ONDT) is responsible for building clinical programs, relationships, and partnerships through the mountain west. ONDT has teams focused on Business Development, Education, Operations, Finance, and New Projects. This position will serve as a Program Coordinator within the Operations Team, working alongside a dynamic group that supports the execution and sustainability of clinical outreach and telemedicine services. This team is responsible for providing operational support for in-person clinical and telemedicine programs in surrounding states, including Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, and Colorado. This candidate will work closely with clinical leaders throughout the health system to support clinical programs that extend healthcare access to underserved communities and patients. This candidate will assist in executing system strategies at the regional level by monitoring operational processes, gathering and organizing program data, identifying needs or barriers, and supporting initiatives that enhance the reach and performance of outreach and telehealth services. Learn more about Telehealth. Role Overview: This position organizes, directs and controls all aspects of a site, project or program within an administrative unit. This position is not responsible for providing patient care. Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Hybrid) Location: 250 Tower (Downtown SLC) Travel: May need to Travel off-site via vehicle or small plane, provided by department Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalency. Two additional years of related experience, or equivalency. EO/AA Responsibilities Oversees administrative matters regarding the day-to-day operations and procedures of an administrative program. Develops and implements unit-specific financial goals and performs strategic and tactical planning for the program by establishing short and long range objectives. Prepares or assists in preparing proposals, audit reports, protocols, publications, and articles. Assesses related training needs and coordinates training programs to meet those needs. Develops, and implements department or program specific policies and procedures. Serves as the department representative in addressing issues and questions related to the programs, which may include representing the department on various committees. Forecasts, prepares, or coordinates the preparation of the program budget and monitors expenditures. Negotiates terms of contracts and/or service agreements. Stays abreast of legal, or other related changes, impacting the program and makes recommendations for improvement and compliance. May develop systems and maintain records to support and advance the program. Provides independent oversight and decision making for all activities of a specified program. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills. Ability to act as a liaison between internal and external constituencies involved in program related activities. Problems arising from these efforts will be addressed by the incumbent who will refer to their manager any issues outside of program policy and procedure guidelines. The level of responsibility does not generally extend beyond the parameters of the program except in an advisory capacity. Ability to have generalized oversight of more than one program.
