Description

BizTech College is looking for an experienced Program Coordinator for ‘Primary Care Paramedic’ Program. The suitable candidate will plan, coordinate, and manage employees for various programs or projects for their employer. Accountable for maintaining budget and records related to the program expenses, implementing policies and procedures, and managing the activities and schedule for the program.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Graduated from Primary Care Paramedic Program or associate degree in health sciences or nursing from a reputed College or University.
. Prior leadership/management experience as an asset.
. ACP License will be an asset.
. NCIT Certified - advanced level as an asset.
· Aware of current paramedic standards and practices.
. Clear criminal record.
· Knowledge of the requirements to become a paramedic in Ontario.
· Understanding of Ontario’s prehospital care system and related legislative framework.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others).

EXPERIENCE:

· A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
. A Minimum of 5 years of land ambulance experience

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for pre-planning and executing the effective coordination process for primary care paramedic program including required activities.
  • Ensure the program policies and practices match with standards and examine the execution of program policies and practices.
  • Must meet the program coordination requirements like – keep programs on schedule within confirmed budgets and ensure the program growth and development.
  • Knowledge of handling staff work assignments, managing workloads, and work schedules.
  • Should have knowledge about conducting fund raising activities for programs as well as community outreach.
  • Responsible for overseeing the program budget, including tracking billing, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Coordinate with program officials and fix program related meetings and events with clients.
  • Aware of creating reports, agreements, proposals and delivering presentations.
  • Work closely with the program faculties and other departments and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Accountable for promoting the program through media relations and social media platforms.
