DESCRIPTION

The Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, planning, organizing, implementing, and coordinating various activities. The Coordinator will work collaboratively with the program manager, and partnering agencies to ensure project goals are met and accomplished. The Coordinator is responsible for daily program operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Human Services, Nutritional Services, or similar degree, or related field experience required.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years in program services
  • Demonstrates good judgment and has the ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Be driven to succeed, organized, proactive, innovative, responsible, assertive, and flexible
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have the capacity to effectively and efficiently handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with staff, program partners and volunteers
  • Must possess a solid understanding of data collection and program evaluation
  • Must possess a valid CA driver’s license with clean driving record
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • General oversight of program operations. General support for staff, interns, and volunteers.
  • Return potential client’s messages
  • Assign clients to a program site
  • Track each site’s enrollment numbers and manage the wait list when necessary
  • Attend community meetings
  • Develop community partners to support client needs
  • Facilitate case consultation meetings with program staff and interns
  • Collect and report outcomes and demographic data
  • Coordinate meal services and donations ensuring distributions to each site
  • Order and purchase supplies for sites
  • Pick up and drop off donations and other site
