Compensation: $$62,162.10 annually
Assist the Director in the daily activities and events of the Older Adult Club.
Immediately respond to reports of accidents, incidents, or safety concerns.
Plan and/or lead recreational and educational activities, trips, and other events.
Prepare the monthly calendar of events, menu, and promotional materials to market and publicize center activities.
Establish and maintain relationships with community-based organizations, individuals, and advocacy groups, the private sector, foundations, associations, corporations, and others to promote the FGC mission and activities.
Register and report new clients and program activities in the STARS Database.
Plan, coordinate, and promote Center activities.
Assist in the coordination of Programmatic Fundraising activities/events.
Outreach
Must attend training and obtain a Food Handlers Certificate, CPR, and AED First Aid certifications.
Must be a Team Player.
Substitute for Program Director when absent.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor?s degree in Social Work, Gerontology, or Human Services with at least one year of experience working with Older Adults, or Associates in Arts or 60 college credits; OR High School graduate or HS Equivalency. At least two years in community or social services, group work, and recreational activities related to older adults.
