Job Details Job Location: DENVER, CO Salary Range: $105000.00 - $125000.00 Salary Description Subject: Position Description Job Title: Program Director Departments: Denver Residential, PHP and IOP Programs: Denver Residential and PHP/IOP Adult & Adolescent Supervisor: Executive Clinical Director FLSA: Salary, Exempt Date Revised: September 2025 Summary of Major Functions: Primarily responsible for the oversight & supervision of milieu techs and therapist, scheduling and programming for the Denver Residential and Adult and Adolescent PHP/IOP programs as part of the interdisciplinary team and in tandem with the other members of the Clinical Leadership team. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Program Management and Development: Ensures EDCare’s mission and treatment philosophy are consistently implemented in our treatment programs. As part of the clinical leadership team, initiates and participates in creative and effective program development. Management of curriculum development, organization and quality. Quarterly quality assessments of all group programs and group facilitators. Management of patient verbal and written feedback. Management of patient transportation expenses. Management of Milieu supply expenses. Management of monthly (yearly) in-service, multifamily/topic talk, and holiday programming schedules. Establish and edit policies and procedures for ongoing consistency in the delivery of clinical services. Ensure standards and accreditation and regulatory requirements, including ongoing Quality Improvement measures and initiatives. Other related job duties as may be assigned. 2. Clinical Staff Management and Development: Coordinates efforts of the clinical team to provide consistent, effective day-to-day treatment. Supervises the milieu staff to deliver Residential, PHP, and IOP services as designed. Hire, evaluate, and arrange coverage for contract staff. Attend all staffing’s and monitor treatment progress of Residential, PHP, and IOP patients. Attends and oversees community meetings. Schedule clinical training opportunities (in services) and maintain internal clinical training handbooks. Complete performance reviews in a timely manner. Actively work with human resources in the hiring process (reviewing resumes, interviewing and decision-making). Monitor and manage staff schedules (PTO requests, time off, etc.) and ensure appropriate staffing coverage for all programs. Other related job duties as may be assigned Clinical support and supervision as appropriate for clinical staff as needed. 3. Corporate Responsibilities: Understand that management’s ultimate goals are the clinical reputation and effectiveness of EDCare’s clinical services. Actively participate in developing and adhering to the short- and long-term business objectives of EDcare as established by EDCare’s Board of Managers and its CEO. Actively participate and attend Senior Management meetings. Participate in short-term and long-range strategic planning.. Compile and prepare Board of Managers Quarterly Reports for programs. Provide on-call job and clinical leadership coverage duties as needed. Proactively handle conflicts with other departments, performance issues with employees, and any other managerial issues as needed or as directed. Other related job duties as may be assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree required. Licensed as LP, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Colorado within 30 days of hire required. Experience working individually and in groups with eating disordered clients preferred. Clinical conceptualization of the treatment of eating disorders and dual diagnosis preferred. Experience managing people. Good oral and written communication skills a must. Clinical leadership skills are a must, minimum of two years’ experience supervising others. Experience managing a department strongly preferred. Computer Skills: Minimum of intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite. Must be able to efficiently learn and effectively work within an electronic medical records system. Must be able to efficiently learn and effectively work within various software products.
