Overview Education DirectorSalary Range: $95,000.00 – $105,000.00 annually Sign on bonus: $5,000.00 over 18 months The Education Director provides leadership and supervision for the Education Department, ensuring academic and special education services promote intellectual, social, and emotional growth for all students. This role is responsible for creating a culture of lifelong learning while overseeing curriculum development, state testing, and compliance with state standards. Develop, implement, and oversee educational programming aligned with state standards. Ensure compliance with special education regulations and oversee state standardized testing. Foster collaboration across departments to integrate services and maintain effective communication systems. Coordinate and manage grant development. Serve as a key liaison with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and other related agencies. Act as an integral member of the administrative team. Oversee all academic, special education, vocational, and transitional services. Provide leadership and direction for curriculum development. Ensure effective development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Supervise services addressing additional student needs, including occupational and physical therapy. Manage all relevant state and out-of-state standardized testing. Qualifications Demonstrated leadership experience in education administration. Strong knowledge of academic and special education standards. Proven ability to develop curriculum and oversee compliance with state regulations. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Experience supervising education staff and managing programs. Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Moderate Special Needs or Special Education Administration 4–10 years of related experience and/or training Strong knowledge of DOE regulations, IEPs, curriculum development, differentiated instruction, and state testing requirements Proven ability to interpret and implement policies, lead within the agency’s mission, and collaborate across disciplines Licensure/Certification: Special Education Administrator or Principal certification Moderate Special Needs certification Additional Requirements: Valid driver’s license (state of residence) Flexibility to occasionally travel overnight/out of state Ability to occasionally work nights, overnights, or weekends Willingness to carry a pager for on-call responsibilities If you experience any issues with the application process or have questions about this position, please contact: Sarah LelievreHR Generalist RecruiterSeven Hills Foundation Stetson School Slelievre@Sevenhills.org
