DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the SAP Project/Program Director is to ensure the quality and timeliness of delivery for Rizing EAM services to our Clients within the agreed commercials and in line with Rizing EAM Values being Integrity, Respect, Courage, Cooperation and Excellence.
Quality and timely delivery needs to also align to Rizing strategic plans and financial targets, whilst maintaining and developing client relationships and delivering high quality project outcomes and value.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • SAP PM or related certification.
  • Prince 2, PMBOK, PMP, PgMP or related project management certification or equivalent experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAS)

  • 15 years or more SAP implementation experience including at least three full lifecycle SAP Projects with an in-depth understanding of SAP Integration and various methodologies required.
  • Previous experience as a senior project manager and/or project director within an SAP implementation managing multiple streams, project managers and teams
  • Previous experience working in a project lead or director role within the professional services industry.
  • Extensive ability to research and evaluate possible solutions and understand their impact to the overall design, including non-SAP systems.
  • Understanding of Asset Management best practices across multiple asset types.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Maintenance, Inventory Management and related business processes and related SAP EAM supporting capabilities.
  • Experience with data mapping and data migration processes and tools.
  • Experience managing project activities / teams and application of structured implementation project methodologies and tools.
  • Experience using the following methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, Scrum & Activate. Having the ability to select the right tools for the job and define a method appropriate for the job at hand. Experience using Organisational Change Management (OCM) methodologies i.e. ADKAR, Prosci, etc.
  • Demonstrated strong team leadership and client interfacing skills, ability to work with both IT and business partners.
  • Experience in preparing, managing, and chairing project/program steering committees
  • Ability to build personal relationships with clients.
  • Must possess deep knowledge of MS Office to include Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills coupled with investigative/research abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills with ability to build relationships and handle difficult issues.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and effectively prioritise the tasks within.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • In addition to core SAP PM, MM and/or PPM / PS module proficiency, experience with other SAP Modules including: Service Management, Finance & Controlling, Human Resources, Cross Application Timesheet, Quality Management, Project & Portfolio Management, and/or Production Planning, Fieldglass and Ariba would be highly valued. This is best summarised as all components of the SAP EAM solution suite for the asset life cycle.
  • Previous experience in professional services or consulting industry.
  • Knowledge of Mobility, ESRI, Spatial solutions technologies, Asset Modelling solutions.
  • Experience with linear asset management (LAM) and exposure to compatible unit (CU) management.
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The following responsibilities are defined for the SAP Project/Program Director:

  • Establishing, leading, and executing the overall Program/project plan and integrated plans across all streams.
  • Ensuring consistency of approach, process, quality, and performance across all streams.
  • Effectively manage relationships with project stakeholders (vendors, client, partners and Rizing teams) including managing expectations, helping the Client understand challenges and issues/risk and provide options for addressing them and providing education.
  • Managing priorities and balance workload across the Program streams for timely and effective delivery.
  • Managing issues and risks, including follow-up with Work streams on issue/risk management.
  • Financial management of the project budget to ensure it is delivered in line with the agreed SOW project estimation and responsible for identifying and raising change requests as required
  • Leading and managing the project resources including project managers, people, facilities, and vendors
  • Providing updates to Client and Rizing executive management relating to Project status, budget, issues and risks and schedule.
  • Governing standards for the project that align to client methodology (utlising Rizing project governance frameworks), such as documentation, quality, deliverable templates.
  • Working with Change Management Work stream to support monitoring and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Finding ways to add value to the Client’s business by helping them to increase their capability or operational effectiveness.
