Profile: Our client is a non-profit organization that serves youth of the English-speaking community. We are looking for a Program Director who will manage a team, manage programs for the youth, provide mentorship to their team of educators and interact with outside partners. This role requires someone with experience dealing with youth, different government agencies like youth protection and management experience.
Workplace: Montreal (office presence 4 days/week)

Salary: $81,224-$89,284 and is determined by the number of years of experience
Commissions/Bonus: N/A

REQUIREMENTS:

Languages: Excellent written and spoken English with some French
Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work, human relations or any related social services field
Training: On the job training provided but am looking for someone experienced in this field.
Overnight Travel: No overnight travel required
Years of experience: At least 3years of leadership/management experience needed

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience managing a team
• Experience working with youth
• Experience in crisis intervention and suicide prevention
• Can work autonomously
• Strong team collaborative skills needed
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Engaged

TRANSFERABLE KNOWLEDGE:

• Knows how to build boundaries yet engage with youth
• Able to present, twice yearly at open houses and Christmas event
• Knowledge of group home settings is preferable
