COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN (CAPC)

Program Educator for Maple

The Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) York Region is fully funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) and provides creative, collaborative leadership to improve child development outcomes for children 0-6 years of age. The CAPC program is inviting applications for the position of CAPC Program Educator for the Maple area. The successful candidate will:

  • have previous experience working with families and/or young children and ideally be a RECE.
  • provide support in the planning, preparation, and delivery of play-based programs.
  • work with a broad range of community partners.
  • require access to a vehicle and be willing to travel to multiple sites.
  • be fluent in English (the ability to speak/understand other languages is an asset).
  • Training in ASQ-3/ASQ-SE-2 an asset.

This position is 15 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
