We’re on the hunt for a visionary Subject Matter Expert to help cultivate the next generation of Smart Agriculture and Agri-Tech Manager!

We are seeking an experienced agricultural professional to serve as a Program Evaluator for our Smart Agriculture and AgriTech program. This role is crucial in assessing and enhancing our curriculum that integrates traditional agricultural practices with modern AgriTech solutions, while ensuring compliance with Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in agriculture, a solid understanding of smart farming technologies, and familiarity with PTIB requirements.Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the Smart Agriculture and AgriTech program curriculum to ensure it meets industry standards, practical agricultural needs, and PTIB requirements.
  • Assess the balance between core agricultural content and AgriTech applications in the program.
  • Review course materials for relevance to current farming practices, sustainable agriculture, and emerging agricultural technologies.
  • Provide recommendations for incorporating real-world agricultural scenarios that demonstrate practical applications of smart farming techniques.
  • Ensure the program adequately covers sustainable and regenerative farming practices alongside AgriTech integration.
  • Collaborate with the academic development team to design and review the program curriculum for Sustainable Agriculture and Farm Management.
  • Align course content and learning objectives with PTIB standards and industry needs.
  • Provide insights into current trends in sustainable farming, crop management, and innovative agricultural practices.
  • Ensure the program integrates practical applications of modern farming techniques and management strategies.
  • Attend a campus meeting to discuss project requirements, provide feedback, and finalize deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in farm management, sustainable agriculture, or agricultural consulting.
  • Familiarity with PTIB regulatory standards and curriculum development requirements (preferred).
  • Experience with integrated pest management, soil conservation, and water-efficient farming practices.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Desired Skills and Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of sustainable farming practices, crop rotation strategies, and soil health management.
