Mentor2.0, a site-based, facilitated mentoring program, is designed to build high-impact relationships between students and mentors, transforming lives and expanding opportunities. We are seeking a Match Support Specialist who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and their communities. Position Type: Full-time Salary: $15-$18/hour DOE As a Match Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in fostering meaningful connections between students and mentors, supporting their growth through weekly lessons, events, and hands-on guidance. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with high school students and community mentors to shape a brighter future for the next generation! Key Responsibilities: Build & Strengthen Mentor-Mentee Relationships Match students with caring mentors who can guide them on their path to success. Provide continuous support to both mentors and mentees, ensuring strong, lasting connections. Track engagement and measure the success of matches to ensure meaningful interactions. Engage and Empower Students Lead dynamic classroom lessons that inspire and motivate students to dream big and take action. Coach students on personal development, life skills, and goal setting, helping them build confidence and clarity about their future. Collaborate closely with teachers and school administrators to ensure student success. Recruit, Train, and Support Mentors Identify and recruit passionate community mentors eager to make a difference. Provide ongoing training and communication to ensure mentors feel prepared, supported, and confident in their roles. Create Impactful Projects & Events Plan and deliver exciting, hands-on projects and monthly events that bring together students, mentors, and the wider community. Coordinate logistics, engage participants, and celebrate the success of each event to strengthen the mentoring network. Collaborate for Collective Success Work alongside a talented team of educators, mentors, and community partners to achieve common goals. Participate in agency committees and engage with staff across departments to drive the mission forward. Requirements What You’ll Bring: Passion for youth development and education. Strong organizational skills and a collaborative spirit. Excellent communication skills – you’ll be working with a variety of stakeholders, from students to teachers to mentors. Creative problem-solving and the ability to plan, execute, and assess projects that make a real impact.
