Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
This position offers a great opportunity to make an impact and have a footprint on building up the Processing Technologies organization into a more structured, rigorous, and process-oriented organization. If you are a self-starter and an outside thinker who likes to share ideas and be collaborative then you will thrive in this role. The position will interact with the business unit, program staff, and program management to support project planning and control, variance analysis, and internal reporting requirements. In addition, the Program Finance Analyst will interface with the FP&A team, program managers, accounting, contracts, and procurement organizations to address EAC booking assumptions, updated forecasts for revenue recognition, backlog, and unbilled analysis on supported programs. Communicating with managers, functional management, program managers, and business managers to provide financial support and analysis.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:
- 4+ years of related professional experience
- Experience in cost management, finance management, or pricing & estimating.
- Experience successfully managing and producing data with strict deadlines.
- Experience with financial analysis and/or cost analysis reporting.
- Strong PC skills and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel.
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
- Experience in a defense or aerospace DoD contracting is a plus
- Experienced user of Cobra Cost Management System
- Strong analytical skills, able to analyze financial data and provide guidance on program performance metrics
- Self Motivated, able to collaborate, lead, and perform tasks without constant oversight
