City/State: Tarrytown, New York Grant Funded: Yes Department: FA - Grants Work Shift: Day Work Days: MON-FRI Scheduled Hours: 8:30 AM-5 PM Scheduled Daily Hours: 7.5 HOURS Pay Range: $96,000.00-$120,000.00 Program Finance Manager will be responsible for the financial management and administration of multiple grants and contracts under Montefiore's mental and behavioral health management subsidiary, University Behavioral Associates. University Behavioral Associates is a complex organization with a diverse funding; total yearly funding of $50+ million across multiple and diverse programs/funding streams. Department includes 250+ staff members under various titles and functions. Oversight will include, but are not limited to, maintaining/reconciling the program's General Ledger, ensuring expenses adhere to budget an accuracy and timeliness of financial data, compiling and submitting monthly claims, reviewing and processing purchase requisitions and invoicing, collecting and tracking receipt of funding and receivables, assisting in the preparation of financial reports and billings to sponsors, and participating in account close-out as well as auditing inquiries and procedures. Provides institutional oversight by monitoring the allowable and appropriate recording of expenses to sponsored projects and the general ledger in order to ensure compliance with generally acceptable accounting principles (GAAP) and sponsor reporting requirements. Knowledge of New York City, New York State, and Federal Grants financial policies and compliance required to ensure grants and contracts are administered in a fiscally responsible manner, complying with all applicable rules and regulations established by both the sponsor agency and our organization. Familiarity with managing grants from New York City's Department of Social Services, Human Resources Administration, and Administration of Children's Services a plus. Position will report to main office location is in Tarrytown. Position will require associate to travel to Bronx program offices periodically. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting required Masters Degree in Finance/Accounting preferred 7 years of experience in Finance/Grants/Accounting required Knowledge GAAP and Grant Accounting. Strong written and verbal communication skills with Senior Management and External Auditors/Government Agencies. Strong Excel Skills, Strata, HCM and INFOR. Time management and ability to multi-task.
