Description

Role Overview: The Program Impact Analyst plays a key role in collecting, managing, and analyzing program data to inform decision-making, enhance service delivery, and meet research and funding requirements. This position supports staff and volunteers in outcome measurement, ensures high-quality reporting, and facilitates knowledge translation activities for internal and external stakeholders. Working closely with leadership, the Analyst contributes to a trauma-informed, person-centered organizational culture that values continuous learning, data-driven impact, and collaborative care.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • An undergraduate degree in social science, health science, public administration, or related field; a postgraduate degree is preferred.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience related to data management, basic evaluation and research methods
  • Attentiveness to regulations related to confidential handling of health information, occupational health and safety legislation/regulations and general ethical-legal considerations
  • Awareness of best practices in social determinants of health and substance use health: up-to-date knowledge of recovery-oriented care and effective approaches in substance use health.
  • Sound understanding of trauma-informed careprinciples and practice.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

· Superior communication skills (verbal and written; writing samples will be requested).
· Proficiency in using technology for data collection, analysis and reporting including Microsoft and other database platforms.
· Able to work with minimal supervision; self-directed and outcome oriented.
· Ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a team.
· Positive, proactive, very detailed oriented and organized
· Ability to process and implement feedback.
· Capable of prioritizing work demands and meeting multiple funding proposal and reporting deadlines
· Committed to lifelong learning and professional development.
· Ability to develop new professional goals as work-related task develop/change
· Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
