Compensation: $85,000-$90,000

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Program Integrity InvestigationsAudit Officer serves as the agency’s lead for incident investigations and proactive compliance auditing. This role manages the full lifecycle of incident investigations, including internal reports and those reportable to state oversight entities, while also conducting proactive site audits to assess compliance with policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Minimum of 35 years’ experience in program auditing, quality assurance, compliance, or regulatory oversight.
  • In-depth knowledge of DDD standards, Investigation Methods, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, track, and investigate all internal incident reports, including those reportable to state regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct interviews, collect evidence, and analyze facts to determine root causes and policy implications.
  • Prepare comprehensive investigative reports with clear findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure corrective actions are implemented and monitored.
  • Design and conduct proactive site audits, both scheduled and unannounced, to evaluate compliance with agency policies, safety practices, and regulatory standards.
