We are seeking a dynamic Counselling Services Program Lead to expand and strengthen our professional services across schools and the wider community based in Campbelltown.
About the Role

As the Program Lead, you will:

  • Lead and supervise a team of Counsellors and Work Placement Students.
  • Deliver a range of counselling services, including group work, to clients with complex emotional needs.
  • Provide clinical expertise and capacity building to ensure safe, ethical, and effective service delivery.
  • Promote mental health and emotional wellbeing through partnerships, advocacy, and community engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure service quality through professional supervision and leadership.
  • Recruit, support, and develop staff and students.
  • Foster a values-aligned team culture in line with Anglicare’s Christian mission.
  • Address staff performance and conduct concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Advocate for clients and build strong referral networks and community partnerships.
  • Monitor budgets and contribute to continuous program improvement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and meet all legislative and funding requirements.

Client-Focused Outcomes

  • Develop and implement tailored case plans with achievable outcomes.
  • Deliver therapeutic counselling aligned with Anglicare’s preferred models.
  • Maintain a full caseload in line with program targets.

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or equivalent.
  • Minimum 500 hours of client contact experience.
  • Clinical experience in family, couple, or youth counselling.
  • Graduate membership with PACFA, AASW, APS or similar.
  • NSW Driver’s Licence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
