SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transition Manager to support our Navy Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) portfolio. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in transition management, demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams, and a solid understanding of schedule creation and management using hybrid agile/waterfall methodologies. This role requires expertise in schedule management, risk and issue management, as well as solid communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. JOB DUTIES: Lead the planning and execution of transitions within the Navy C5ISR portfolio supporting PEO Digital, ensuring seamless change management and minimal disruption to operations while adhering to and driving the schedule. Develop, manage, and maintain detailed transition schedules to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project timelines. Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, fostering collaboration and effective communication among all stakeholders. Implement and manage hybrid agile/waterfall approaches to optimize project delivery and align with customer requirements. Identify, assess, manage, and mitigate risks and issues associated with transitions, providing proactive solutions to potential challenges. Develop transition plans, processes, and procedures to achieve effective integration and alignment with organizational objectives. Maintain and cultivate strong relationships with Navy stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the transition process. Prepare and present status reports, briefings, and other communications to senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise information sharing. Utilize solid communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts, project status, risks, and issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Master and thirteen (13) years or more of related experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in transition management. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have an Active Secret Clearance at start. Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI after start. Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Strong proficiency in MS Project schedule creation and management using a hybrid agile/waterfall methodology.
