Overview The Program Manager is responsible for managing the onboarding process for producers acquired through mergers and acquisitions, including coordinating carrier appointments and collaborating with M&A Integration Management Office (IMO) teams. This role ensures a seamless transition by aligning processes with organizational standards, maintaining compliance, and providing support to producers during the onboarding phase. The Sales Program Manager acts as a liaison between internal teams, acquired entities, and carriers to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with company goals. How you'll make an impact Producer Onboarding and Integration: Lead the onboarding process for producers acquired through mergers and acquisitions, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. Develop and execute detailed onboarding plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Facilitate training sessions and provide resources to help producers understand company systems, processes, and policies. Collaborate with M&A IMO teams to align onboarding activities with broader integration strategies. Carrier Appointments: Manage the end-to-end process of carrier appointments for acquired producers, including application submission, follow-ups, and approvals. Ensure all carrier appointment documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company and regulatory standards. Act as the primary point of contact for carriers regarding producer appointments and contracting inquiries. Maintain up-to-date records of carrier appointments and agreements in the company’s database or CRM system. Licensing and Compliance: Ensure all producers meet licensing and regulatory requirements during the onboarding process. Collaborate with the compliance team to verify credentials and address any licensing or appointment issues. Monitor and track licensing and appointment renewals to avoid lapses in compliance. Collaboration with M&A IMO Teams: Work closely with M&A Integration Management Office (IMO) teams to ensure producer onboarding aligns with the overall integration strategy. Provide regular updates to IMO teams on onboarding progress, challenges, and milestones. Support IMO teams in identifying and resolving integration-related issues impacting producers or carrier relationships. Communication and Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for producers during the onboarding phase, addressing questions and concerns promptly. Build strong relationships with acquired producers and carriers to foster trust and alignment with organizational goals. Provide regular updates to leadership on the progress of onboarding activities and identify any challenges or risks. Process Improvement and Standardization: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the producer onboarding and carrier appointment processes, ensuring consistency across all M&A integrations. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for producer onboarding, carrier appointments, and integration activities. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the onboarding experience. Reporting and Metrics: Track and report key metrics related to producer onboarding, carrier appointments, and integration activities, including timelines, compliance rates, and producer satisfaction. Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements to the onboarding and appointment processes. Prepare detailed reports for leadership and IMO teams on the status of M&A integration activities. About You Required: Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience in operations, contracting, or a related role within the insurance or financial services industry. Familiarity with carrier appointment processes and regulatory requirements (preferred).
