EDUCATION, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Education, Community Development, Human Resource or a related Field.
· Demonstrated experience supervising staff is required.
· Minimum five (5) years of experience in leading and coordinating programs for youth.
· Exceptional skills in program management and group facilitation.
· Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills.
· Outstanding problem-solving, conflict mediation, and negotiation skills.
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively alone, in a team and within multi-stakeholder environments; to supervise staff from culturally diverse backgrounds with ranges of skills and experience; and, to lead program development initiatives.
· Excellent computer proficiency.
· Understanding of school board operations and procedures is an asset.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for work
· Ability to travel to multiple sites across the city as required
