WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

CAPTRUST is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee projects within our Institutional business line. This role focuses on enhancing services and ensuring operational excellence for retirement plan sponsors, endowments, and foundations. The Program Manager will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards. They will coordinate efforts, manage interdependencies, and streamline processes for growth. By aligning projects with strategic goals, the Program Manager will drive efficiency, manage risks, and facilitate scalable growth. Acting as a central communication point for stakeholders, the Program Manager will ensure transparency and alignment, enabling the firm to adapt and pivot strategies effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the institutional business line program to enhance services by improving processes and back-office operations
  • Ensure all projects contribute to the company’s strategic goals
  • Develop comprehensive program plans, timelines, and milestones for various initiatives within the Institutional business line
  • Efficiently allocate resources to ensure optimal productivity and success across multiple institutional services
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Monitor program budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial objectives are met
  • Track and report on program performance, using metrics to assess progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Continuously evaluate and improve program management processes and methodologies to enhance overall service delivery.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, DevOps)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience in the financial services or wealth management industry
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field
